The flexibility of Monoweld's galvanizing lines ensures that the company is able to galvanize a comprehensive array of products, including large and bulky items that previously were not able to be hot dip galvanized.
All galvanizing carried out by Monoweld Galvanizers conforms to SANS 121 (formerly known as ISO 1461 or SABS 763).
Line 1 is the longest kettle in South Africa.
The line is a general open dip facility, specialising in the galvanizing of long products, such as large bore piping, lighting poles, structural steel and fabricated sections.
These sections include plate, girders, purlins, beams, columns and conveyor steelwork.
Line 3 is a multi-purpose galvanizing facility.
The line is capable of galvanizing pipes ranging from 50mm OD up to 114mm OD in lengths from 4.5 metres up to 7.2 metres. In addition, this line is used to carry out general galvanizing of smaller items.
